Hello my name is Marija, and I've been a PTA for over 4 years and an RMT for nearly 3 in both clinical and spa settings.
During this time I've been working with a small team of highly experienced physiotherapists, TCM acupuncturists, and surgeons specifically interested in spinal conditions. l've always carried a huge interest in anatomy, neurology and spinal related treatments. My experience also includes working with a small group of dementia patients, and clients with a health history of: pain injections, automobile accidents, neck fractures, and shoulder/hip/ankle replacement surgery. As I continue to expand my passion and education in acupuncture and wellness, it's clear to see the benefits of a multidisciplinary approach for the most desirable outcome. In my approach I always push for blood work and medical imaging when appropriate. I appreciate it when clients show up to treatment with their medical reports in hand to avoid any guesswork during assessment. During treatment I offer a combination of therapeutic and relaxation techniques, as well as homecare. During my time off, I spend most of it outdoors - I've always enjoyed swimming year round, biking, visiting friends/family, and traveling the world! I look forward to meeting you soon! |
